Creative workshops in August offer hands-on glam and design fun
DUBAI has welcomed a one-of-a-kind children’s space where creativity and self-expression shine bright – Super Duper Studio.
Tucked inside Goshi Warehouse City, Al Quoz, the studio merges salon fun, imaginative play and arts and crafts into a vibrant sensory experience for kids.
From rainbow braids and bubble ponytails to sparkly nail art and tinsel hair extensions, children can choose from a menu of glam services to create their unique look.
Whether it’s a first haircut or a glitter-packed braid session, every styling appointment becomes a playful celebration.
What can kids do at Super Duper Studio?
Beyond the salon chair, little ones can explore their inner designer at the studio’s Design Corner. Here, they can craft and customise wearable pieces – from magical capes and denim jackets to funky tutus and t-shirts – offering a hands-on creative outlet. Face painting, sparkly tattoos and sticker stations also add to the all-out sensory journey.
The studio is designed to boost confidence, imagination and fun in equal measure, allowing kids to express themselves freely through colour, texture and creativity.
What’s happening this August?
This month, Super Duper Studio is teaming up with thejamjar to host two themed creative workshops that blend art, movement and glam:
- August 5: Rockstar Guitar Design – Kids aged 5–10 design their own guitars and then rock the Super Stage after a glam session.
- August 7: Fairy Wings & Sparkle – Children spend the afternoon designing their own wings, dressing up and indulging in glitter fun.
Each 90-minute workshop runs from 4:00 to 5:30 PM and includes all materials, a take-home creation, a styling session (face paint, hair or nails) and a sweet treat from House of Pops.
Priced at Dh200, spaces are limited and early booking is advised.
Where to book parties?
In addition to drop-in visits and workshops, parents can arrange bespoke party packages starting from Dh225 per child. Parties feature dedicated glam zones, customised DIY crafts, Super Stage shows and keepsake photos – tailored to each child’s interests.
Super Duper Studio also features a sensory-friendly Dress-Up Salon and promotes an inclusive atmosphere where children of all abilities can explore style and imagination.
“We created Super Duper Studio to give children a space where they feel seen, celebrated and completely themselves,” say co-founders Priyal and Iram.
